New preprint from the lab led by Chris Puhl & @ww42 – a subset of CA3 pyramidal neurons show some surprising forms of plasticity following cholinergic stimulation. We propose that the proportion of functionally-defined cell types in CA3 is plastic. Enjoy! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Come tomorrow to hear how the brain folds into shape! With Dr Katie Long and Prof Anthony Graham! pintofscience.co.uk/event/folding-… You might have the change to win our brain usb flash drive! #pint22 Pint of Science UK The George Inn

Poster alert! sally will be representing the lab single-handedly and presenting exciting work at #SfN22 on Wed 16th (am), Poster: 603.02. Be prepared for beautiful images and lovely results! Less than a week to go until #pint23! Our first night is sold out but you could still hear great talks about brain development with Juan Burrone Lab and Sila Ultanir or learn about hearing with Lipovsek Lab and Elisa Martelletti by visiting pintofscience.co.uk/events/london

End of a fantastic #pint23 Pint of Science UK Incredible atmosphere every night, lot of science, lot of fun🧠🍺 😁

Thanks to Аnа Dorrego Rivas and Robert Hindges for a fabulous #pint24 evening making sense of our senses!

Thanks to Sarah Marzi and Pete Harley for two fantastic talks on neurodegeneration for our final #pint24 event!

It was so much fun being a guest on Neuroverse, thanks for inviting me Carolina Soares and Clara Lenherr! If you're interested in methods to study synapses check out this episode!

Thrilled to see this work published! Led by the amazing sally, we show a tight correlation in E and I along dendrites during circuit wiring. Check it out! Very excited to see this out! Great collaboration with FrattaLab. Fabulous work by M Keuss and Pete Harley et al. There’s something for everyone – from cryptic exons to synapse physiology and rescues by ASOs. Promising findings for future ALS strategies.
