Resource allocation in health is the hot topic at this morning's Oxford University Global Surgery Group course. 'How would you spend $1billion as a health minister?' How can we make decisions using evidence on value for money for health interventions? Thanks Anant Jani and Rafael Pinedo NDORMS

Rafael Pinedo NDORMS Thank you for Roba Khundkar for facilitating such an important and heart wrenching discussion on clinical decisions on which patients to treat in resource-limited settings. Thank you to our participants for sharing your experiences of tough frontline decision-making

Our Co-Founder Garreth Wood is giving a lecture at University of Oxford this morning, where he'll be discussing the state of global surgery and the importance of strengthening local workforces to create sustainable healthcare systems. Oxford University Global Surgery Group #HealthForAll

'The challenge in #globalsurgery is huge - we need to be credible and resilient, we need to have a unified vision' Fungai Dengu helping us think about strategic challenges in changing national surgical systems at Oxford Global Surgery Course 2021 Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences

Blown away by the eye opening lecture by Garreth Wood from Kids Operating Room. Learnt a lot about the current challenges in healthcare funding and about the truly astounding things they have done. More than $1B saved a year! Thanks Oxford University Global Surgery Group for such a brilliant session!
