Therapeutic metaphors help physios boost engagement. Patients arrive with heavy histories; clinicians walk with them, guiding toward new paths—roads to vitality villages. This is Dr Barbara using one of my metaphors with her team and patients this week.

We guided our 95-year-old grandma on a virtual walk through the stunning roads of Kyoto—proof that meaningful journeys can happen at any age, even from home. However, what she enjoyed the most was the talk—our shared stories, her memories, the laughter. #brain #humanfirst
