A busy life is not a symbol of status. It's a symptom of trying to do too much for too many people. A full calendar brings a surplus of stress and a shortage of energy. Reflecting and relaxing should be top priorities. Unscheduled time isn't wasted. It's invested in well-being.

Have you ever done a dense grid search over neural network hyperparameters? Like a *really dense* grid search? It looks like this (!!). Blueish colors correspond to hyperparameters for which training converges, redish colors to hyperparameters for which training diverges.

Framing regression as a classification has been “dark knowledge” for some time. We wanted to shed some light on this phenomenon in deep RL: Framing value-learning as a classification significantly improves performance and scalability in deep RL. But... not all classification

Introducing CLAMP: : a device, dataset, and model that bring large-scale, in-the-wild multimodal haptics to real robots. Haptics / Tactile data is more than just force or surface texture, and capturing this multimodal haptic information can be useful for robot manipulation.
