🔽PHR’s Erika Dailey: PHR’s lead researcher on the health harms of crowd-control weapons (CCWs) is Rohini Haar Rohini J. Haar who is an ER doctor, and she knows firsthand how damaging CCWs can be when law enforcement misuses these against protestors.


🔽PHR’s Erika Dailey: Kinetic Impact Projectiles (KIPs) are particularly dangerous CCWs. The only real purpose of KIPs are to cause harm. Injuries by KIPs can include brain damage, internal bleeding, and worse. There have been strong international calls to ban these weapons.
