Great work by team in publication of our outcomes novel stent treat aneurysms / fistulas. Predominantly traumatic aneurysms / aneurysms treated elsewhere that continued to expand / bleed. No complications, and on follow up imaging all aneurysms or malformations remained occluded.

Incredible effort by everyone. Thrombectomy is truly the disability minimising treatment when it comes to stroke care. SVIN Let’s all get aware with the early stroke signs #BEFAST and minimise disability by taking the patient for thrombectomy. #allhandsin

🌍🧠 At #ESOC2025, Dileep R. Yavagal delivered a powerful talk on the global inequity in access to thrombectomy for large vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke. 🚨 MT-GLASS study revealed a global median access of just 2.79% ⚖️ A shocking 500-fold disparity—from Australia 🇦🇺 to Bangladesh 🇧🇩 💔

🚨 Just published in Annals of Indian Academy of Neurology: A rare case of posterior circulation stroke caused by a vertebral artery web—confirmed on DSA after initial suspicion of dissection. A reminder to keep this under-recognized etiology in the differential in young stroke patients. 🧠#stroke
