Haven't done a poll before, but this came to mind. - Should a race like Strada Bianchi's route be released the night before the race instead of allowing research/recon. Would certainly make for an interesting race. Note sure if this is the right race to test the theory.

Just turned on GCN Racing . It can be windy and rainy racing, but unless you are riding slowly there is 0 reason to wear a rain jacket racing. There is no clothing that slows you down more than a rain jacket. Gabba style, even a rain vest is the way to go.

Switching on GlobalCyclingNetwork and watching athletes racing in rain jackets again… slowest item in the group. A plethora of quality items to choose before a rain jacket!

The Amstel Gold Race. Managed to race it a few times and one of my favorite races. Physically harder than nearly all classics, and that was in the dry!!! Glad I’m on the couch 🍻cheers to retirement

Really do enjoy turning on the tv to watch La Vuelta and saying “oh yeah, I remember this climb, glad I’m on the couch”. Very cool stage today, hard penultimate climb, tricky descent before l’Angliru!

A little (very) surprised that I can’t watch a stream on any platform for the Women’s gravel worlds tomorrow! How can’t I watch a UCI World Championship event, but can watch a small Dutch, Belgian, or French men’s race? Seems ridiculous in 2023
