I understand that many in the transgender community are feeling angry, afraid, and frustrated with the changes happening in the world right now. But remember this: People didn’t take issue until you targeted children, women, and the LGB. This situation is a result of your

Slarty Bartfast National Trust The National Trust used to give you a brief history of the property, a little bit of juicy scandal, and a ghost story. Then you had a tea and sandwich. Bought some overpriced honey or chocolates and went home. Now you get a lecture about white privilege.

It’s a hilarious framing. When TRA’s cover up the name it’s ‘participating’, but when a feminist campaigner unpicks it, it’s ‘tampering’ Slow clap… BBC News (UK) and National Trust bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

1/ The gender elites aren't cut out for brinksmanship. Liverpool Pride ended their sponsor relationship with Barclays Bank over a row in which BB said they would obey the Supreme Court ruling. They were counting on BB to buckle, but they didn't reckon with commercial reality.

2/ Barclays, faced with a choice between "pay enormous sums in damages for breaking the law" and "keep a bunch of idiotic gendocrats happy" obviously chose the former, they were always going to, and only their foolish opponents would think the rule of law was somehow optional.

3/ It's a fitting epitaph for this silly event that having been addicted to and completely reliant on corporate patronage it now withers away having bit the hand that fed it. With no hinterland of real grassroots lesbian/gay activism it cannot survive without generous patronage.

4/ This has the feeling of a moment in history, the unmistakable outline of the shape of things to come. These bloated, pointless, silly parties - part lecture, part public sex acts have looked like the wrong side of history for some time and history they will now join. Good.

6/ While the rest of modernity responds in an adult fashion to the Supreme Court reality check, Pride will continue to whinge, stamp its feet and bemoan the plight of terribly sad heterosexual transvestites and their spurious and now legally hopeless complaints and demands.

7/ How fitting it is that a morally and political bankrupt movement faces financial ruin. That a movement with nothing much to say will soon be reduced to having nothing much to do. That a cadre of brave lesbians and gay men are loud voices in celebrating its demise.

Dennis Noel Kavanagh (@jebadoo2) 's Twitter Profile Photo

8/ We who opposed this rotten homophobic misogynist movement never required or obtained corporate sponsorship, we didn't need it to fight something so obviously wrong and dangerous. By comparison, our opponents now wither into irrelevance without it.

J.K. Rowling South Tyrol CR The Supreme Court judgement was a huge sigh of relief for many, many women in the UK. This decision is 51 days old today. Yet we still have men in women's prisons. From sports centres to NHS hospitals they still are dragging their heels to reinstate the rights women had to

RadioGenoa Venice is a city built by survivors of Islamic invasions and slave raids. Italy has endured centuries of attacks, beheadings, kidnappings, and church desecrations.. all in the name of Islam. So no, Venice isn’t “Islamophobic.” It’s historically alert. If you move to a Christian
