Today we welcomed local MP & Govt. Minister Georgia Gould to Crisis Skylight Brent to meet our staff, the people we support & find out about the innovative ways we work locally. By taking collaborative & data-driven approaches, we can end homelessness for people and places.

Too many families are facing Christmas without a stable place to call home. Today I joined Sadiq Khan at a @Crisis_UK warehouse to meet their brilliant volunteers and see the work they do to change the lives of people experiencing homelessness.


The services homeless charities provide can be a lifeline to those sleeping rough. Good to visit the @Crisis_UK warehouse with Angela Rayner. This winter, weāre providing Crisis and St Mungo's with Ā£300,000 funding to extend winter services until the end of January.



Following the Govt's announcement of £1bn funding to tackle homelessness, our Director of Policy & Social Change, Francesca Albanese spoke to Channel 5 News to emphasise that this must be invested in long term solutions including more social housing.

In todayās spending review Rachel Reeves confirmed the Govt will invest Ā£39 billion in social & affordable homes over the next decade. This is hugely welcome and could mean the start of a massive shift in how our society tackles homelessness.
