Just came back on Twitter today to ask WHY is Airbnb 's support system Airbnb Help so awful?! Like I know these agents aren't often paid well, but it feels like the peeps hired by Airbnb are especially dense, & always add confusion rather than clarity or, ya know, actual... help

Update: they did nothing, they’re doing nothing, the support staff are really lacking some understanding of words and language and/or common sense based on the kind of messages I’m getting. It’s appalling. Like Comcast “service” back in the day. I thought Airbnb would be better?

It’s the public comment and then privately doing nothing to help that drives me esp crazy. Airbnb / Airbnb Help is all like “we’re happy to pretend to care in public spaces, but do we? lol, yeah fucking right.”

This is all because we bought a $200 gift card for a friend in Mexico and Airbnb said she can’t use it, but so far their only suggestion is to “apply it to (my own) account and let her use it from there” Confirmed she’ll never be able to use it but they won’t refund me.

She has been trying to resolve this with Airbnb Airbnb Help SINCE HER BIRTHDAY IN JUNE and no help/support. She finally mentioned it to me and I’m trying to get a refund and Airbnb told me to reach out to the seller. IT WAS THEM! Airbnb.com SOLD ME THE GIFT CARD!

When a bank’s customer service is better than Airbnb … wow that’s sad. Resolved this with Chase in less than 5 minutes after FOUR MONTHS of Airbnb Support. being totally worthless. I am so angry and frustrated and I’m mad I’ve given support all these years.

UM British Airways says they don’t have ovens or crew bunks on an 8hr flight & crew is already telling us “it would nice if we could get a plane that worked FOR ONCE” & “the only way you’ll get there is if the staff gives up their rest”?! Pls get working planes & let staff rest!
