Day 1 of #IFSTALSS23 is off to a good start. Saher Hasnain challenged us to think about which food we'd allow to disappear if we had to: cashew nut, banana, watermelon or avocado 🤔
We're back for Day 2 of #IFSTALSS23 , starting the day with a session on Shaping the Policy Agenda led by Dr Barbara Häsler Royal Veterinary College (RVC).
An interesting session on dealing with conflict in teams led by @LouWhatford and Niko Dadios, both from Royal Veterinary College (RVC) They challenged participants to role play stakeholders with different takes on a (fictitious) farming subsidy scheme.
It's the final day of the Summer School which means only one thing: the presentations: Thanks to Defra UK WWF Pasture For Life Food Plymouth and IFST for setting excellent briefs 1/2 #IFSTALSS2

Another busy week visiting secondary schools. My highlight was joining a year 8 group learning how to cook eggs - a brilliant, simple and affordable session all fit within 1 hour class! Best Food Forward #bestfoodforward #foodeducationmappingproject #FEMP
At a secondary school yesterday and the food teacher described their essential equipment as a blast chiller. How many of you #foodteachers have one of these? FoodTeachersCentre Best Food Forward
Brilliant hake fish finger sandwiches being made by students in Dorset yesterday. Fish can be tricky to engage students with, but this was a great session to introduce it and build confidence. Don't they look good? #foodeducationmappingproject Best Food Forward
