Q1 - I am hyperaware of the specialists at our tertiary center where I train. ie. wound care nursing, advanced GI, IR. For this reason, I try to learn from the specialists as often as possible! #AWSchat #RuralSurgery

Q2 I have limited knowledge for this one, although I know the American College of Surgeons has a rural advisory council with a very active community/listserv. They have been a source for clinical discussion and even rural job search! #AWSChat #RuralSurgery

Q3 I still have a lot to learn in this arena! But, I certainly hope that technology continues to make it easier to stay up to date. #AWSChat #RuralSurgery

Q4 I hope that the rural surgery community can capitalize on using televideo to support the surgeon in a multidisciplinary fashion. I think there is a lot of potential in this field for surgery. #AWSChat #RuralSurgery
