It's rare for political figures to address conspiracy theories about them, and even more rare to do it through the legal system. The Obamas have never sued anyone about the "Michelle is a man" hoax, so this is a big deal.

"Prosecute Obama for treason" was one of the core values of QAnon. They play the hits because they know it riles up the base and keeps them from thinking too much about the failure to reveal the truth about Epstein - also one of the core values QAnon.

After years of believing there's nothing new of value in Epstein's files, I'm starting to think that there's something potentially devastating to Trump there that he and his inner circle are desperate to cover up. Amazing what telling people not to talk about something will do.
