A new pin location — created by Martin Ebert — is in play on the 1st green today, one that didn’t exist in 2019. It offers a chance to start moving day with a birdie, but get it wrong and players could find themselves short-sided or facing a slippery putt.

Nigel Pollock, our Club Captain, has the honour of handing the Claret Jug to the 153rd Champion Golfer later this afternoon.

Two very different front pins. At 13, it’s downwind to a green that slopes away — making stopping the ball tough. At 17, it’s into the wind with no trouble short, offering a much more forgiving approach. A good example of the fair course setup Graeme and his team aim for daily.
