When presented with scenarios illustrating different levels of patient involvement and different clinical outcomes, patients reported increased satisfaction with care in scenarios with higher levels of patient involvement and shared decision-making. qualitysafety.bmj.com/content/31/2/8…

Risk of medical negligence claims is higher among doctors who work long hours, have low life satisfaction, or have had a recent serious illness. Creating more supportive work environments and improving doctors’ health could help improve patient safety. bmjopen.bmj.com/content/12/6/e…
