“Wallace’s Flying Frog is able to glide 50 feet in air to escape from predators!! It almost looks like a DJI drone!! What other animals does this remind you of?!? Could we build something that might glide like this frog?!? #ngss #ngsschat #science

It’s estimated that this ladder was laid on the limestone around 150 years ago. When it rained, it dissolved the carbonate compounds contained in limestone & soaked the ladder in calcium and magnesium ions. Over time, the minerals solidified and petrified the ladder's surface.
