Well done to all our winners at the End of Season Hockey Awards this week. We have regularly put out 17 teams with over 250 girls representing the school so lots to celebrate and acknowledge. One more block fixture to go this Saturday!

Our Girls XI saved their best for last in the annual Guest Match vs Kirkham Grammar yesterday. Great send off for our departing XX. Thanks to parents, staff & students who came to support.

Day 1 of boys preseason went very well with the players getting in technical sand game play sessions before recovery, dinner and team bonding in the evening 🏑 #RugbySchoolHockey #RugbySchoolSport

Day 2 of preseason was hit by a heavy snowfall. After lunch the pitches hadn’t cleared, so the lads decided to do something out it! A huge team effort resulted in them all being able to get a couple of hours of match play in 👏 Well done all! #RugbySchoolSport

The Boys XI took a long trip to Ipswich and put on a great display to bring home 3 points in what was a massive T1 game for both sides 👏🔥🏑 #RugbySchoolHockey

After an ❄️ ❄️❄️ start to the term great to get the season up & running with block fixtures vs Stowe, Radley & Uppingham with all 13 boys teams in regular action over the past three weeks.

The Boys XI had a surprise visit yesterday from double Olympic Hockey player Jacob Draper 🏑 He gave some key messages before the game, supported the lads in the dugout and held a Q&A for them afterwards 🙌 Thank you for giving up your time to join us for the day Jacob!

Congratulations to the Under 16 girls who have reached the National Plate final after a hard fought win over a strong King’s Mac Sport & PE today. The final is Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre on 11th March 🥳👏 🏑

Yesterday marked the final school block fixture for an incredibly talented group of young men who have done so much to raise both the profile and standard of boys hockey at the school. They really are a golden generation and we wish them all the very best of luck in the future

Congratulations to Fin (Lower XX) who made his debut today for Scotland U18s in the Easter 6 Nations tournament in Belgium. Brilliant achievement for such a talented, dedicated player. Well done, Fin.
