Rungano Day brought together youth from the poorest backgrounds in Ruhango District. The warm embrace of over 150 more youth into our community was truly moving. The exchange of ideas on annual goal setting between the old and new youth was amazing! Here is the future of Rwanda!

In March, our program welcomed 150 youth from the poorest households in Ruhango district. Staff are now conducting individual visits to understand each youth's unique circumstances for informed guidance and support while also fostering trusting relationships.

As part of #Kwibuka31, on June 29th Rungano youth & staff commemorated the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. We visited Ruhango memorial site, laid wreaths, and learned from Mugabo Suleiman, a survivor. Empowering post-Genocide youth to understand and commit to Rwanda's rebuilding
