You'd better only be here because you're looking for funny cat videos. It's the holidays! But if you're taking some time to consider your KS3 planning for next year, we've got a feature that would only take you two minutes to read. Search 'exploding Checkpoints' on our website 💥

A Level stats help please! PMCC Hypothesis testing: textbook has tables for 1-tailed test. My old stats tables book has tables for 2-tailed. Why do the values not match up? I would expect 2-tailed for 0.05 to be same as 1-tailed for 0.025? What am I missing please?

I’m sure someone tweeted a great blog on GCSE re “marks” and reviews of scripts, but I can’t find it now, can anyone remember and point me in the right direction please?

AMAZING Ezra Collective gig last night in Brighton - thanks so much to Femi Koleoso for sorting it and making my boy's year - and so inspiring for the New Generation Jazz Jazz Futures band members to chat to all you fantastic musicians and hear such great sounds. It was so much fun!

Year 2 Mechanics q please (q2 below) - why is there no Normal reaction force in this situation? Solutionbank basically makes it identical to q1 but there is an inclined plane involved so surely not the same? Thanks. Tom Bennison @Whitehughes Dawn MA NPQSL 🐦 💙✖➗➕➖💙💛

My retired mum has just become a governor of a primary school local to her. Is there a good book that anyone can recommend please which sort of outlines the basics of what she needs to know?

Large Data Set (Edexcel) help please: before I write some, has anyone shared any sets of starter questions based on what students need to know from the LDS? Thanks! Tom Bennison Integral

.@Edexcel It would be great to have some clarification on using the NumWorks calculator for A Level, specifically for Normal distribution (missing mu/sigma) and Binomial expansion with fractional / negative x. Will exams require more than just calc answers? Exactly what? Thx

Sad beyond words to learn of Miss ‘s passing away earlier today. My heart is heavy for her family, her partner Roy, her friends who loved her deeply, and those who knew her professionally.

The brilliant Miss was a wise friend to so many people. She was also a great blogger. Remembering her today, I thought I would re-share one of her blogs that I found thought provoking and useful. Love to all her family and friends. missdcoxblog.wordpress.com/2020/07/18/the…
