So pleased to see Government recognising the value of enrichment and non-formal learning as part of a broad and balanced education for every child. Looking forward to supporting Department for Education Catherine McKinnell MP Bridget Phillipson to develop this essential framework

Did you know many of our care homes run regular ‘knit and knatter’ sessions? A chance for people to get to know each other over a cuppa & crafts 🧶🧡 At Windsor Court #carehome in Goole, Harry was eagerly telling everyone about meeting the royal family after completing his The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award!

Abigail has been busy today litter picking her street for her The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, doing a double pick after a busy weekend. Young volunteers like her make a real difference. Litter picking shows caring for our planet is always in style. #Youth #volunteering #Sandwell #tipton

The vibes this morning in our Bronze The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award encampment were exquisite. Over half the girls had never camped before. After a night of singing around the campfire, the birds responded - starting with cuckoos calling and ending with a dawn chorus crescendo. We were all up at 5 am,

A superb weekend for our The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award crew. Weather amazing and students impeccably behaved. Campers who have been going to Petruth campsite for 22 years commented on their outstanding behaviour and attitude. Well done Team Clevedon inc. our brilliant staff for supporting this trip

🎊 Yesterday, three of our Youth Ambassador’s attended the UK Prime Minister Party, to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe. It was an honour to be in attendance alongside DofE Gold Award holder Keir Starmer, other youth organisations, serving military personal

Proud to see one of our students being recognised at the The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award celebrations at Buckingham Palace. Lucas is a student who truly embodies the motto 'become your best self'! #proud

We welcome Department for Culture, Media and Sport investment in youth work, including additional funds to help expand access to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programmes. But, youth spending is still lower than under the last Govt. and further investment is desperately needed to give young people the start in life they need and deserve.

Fantastic to see Govt backing young people & strengthening charities through a major investment in youth work and enrichment. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and our #BackYouthAlliance partners have long called for this. 👏👏Department for Culture, Media and Sport Rachel Reeves & participating £ institutions Lloyds Banking Group The Co-operative Bank UK
