Today we remember the one and only Dr Kate Granger MBE who died on this day in 2016. Kate was an inspiration to thousands across the NHS and her legacy lives on in so much of what we do. 2023 marks 10 years since she launched the #HelloMyNameIs campaign.

2 of the most under-used leadership behaviours - especially in the NHS - are: (1) the vast majority of people have good intent - always start from that position (2) when things go wrong it’s usually a process or system that hasn’t delivered - not because someone is malign (1/6)

23 years ago Karen, a member of staff at the Trust gave birth and soon found out she needed a heart transplant, which was received 24 days later. “My donor's generosity let me to see my daughters grow up. Every year, I light a candle for their selflessness." #OrganDonationWeek
