We completed one of the parts of the redesign for Thunderbird Supernova (115). An updated App Menu (you may know it as the hamburger menu). You can see it in Nightly. It's great to have one piece done, and @micahilbery did a great job on it!

It's a great, customizable email experience that allows me to work the way I want to. Even if that way is weird.

Decided today that the next Thunderbird stable release will not be referred to as the arbitrary version number "115". Instead, we will henceforth call it by its codename "Supernova". So, folks, the 2023 release of Thunderbird is "Thunderbird Supernova"

The Thunderbird team is working on some amazing stuff to improve calendar management and finding times to meet with others. You will be surprised and impressed. That's all the teasing for today.

Spent the morning terminating CAT6 cable and putting up my access points. You can now get near gigabit speeds out to the web throughout my house.

Putting a fireplace in the living room of my new house is, probably, the best decision I've ever made.

So, as of September 14th, I became a father to these two beautiful girls. I finally have gotten enough sleep to share the news!
