I just got a tour of Culdesac from Ryan Johnson It’s one of the coolest projects I’ve ever seen. America needs more walkable neighborhoods like this. Every city should be making it easy to build these. If you’re ever in Phoenix, come to Tempe and check it out.

They’re also getting good at positioning their vehicles so when you’re looking for a ride they’re roughly 5 to 10 minutes away!

The best ebike sale I’ve seen in years. $800 for an XP 3.0 is exceptional. No way they’re discontinuing this like the famous Rad Mission sale. More likely, the 4.0 is about to replace this. But even still, this deal is exceptional.

Best line so far, to justify the removable screen. “Let’s say that you order your bike, and on the one way one of our shipping partners decides to shotput it”

Best part of Nick’s visit is he asked a stranger if they lived here because they had a suitcase. They were in town from DC and wanted to see Culdesac. Turns out it was the person who runs Doordash’s ebike program! Wouldn’t have met him if Nick didn’t stop him

A unique part of my book is that it ends every chapter with solutions, a Y Combinator style RFS or ‘Request for Startups’ with a micro-brief and highlights some of the most exciting startups and techno-urbanist companies in the world. Many thanks to the these founders and teams
