Great work by Charles Schlaepfer MD showing differences in current use and perceived optimal use of #POCUS amongst trainees and non-trainees. The info is 🔑 to tailor training to each group! techscience.com/CJU/online/det… Chad Tracy Zubin Shetty Vignesh Packiam, MD EBTakacsMD Rus Korets MD 🇺🇦
Dr. Kathryn Marchetti says she's lucky to be able to help people navigate complex health care decisions, while in her own work, she knows "A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor." Learn more about Kathryn Marchetti-Loebs, who joined our urologic oncology team in July:
Excited to be at New England Section of the AUA meeting to do a hands on #POCUS course with APPs with my POCUS partner Rus Korets MD 🇺🇦. Ready to get the sound waves going…

Endo friends- Hx of stones sp SWL and URS. Large recurrent stone. PCNL performed (nothing special). Core of stone has stark white hollow lattice like structure (doesn’t break with Trilogy). Has anyone seen this b4? Foreign body from prior 🪨 procedure? Endourological Society
A very inspiring talk by Dr. Pearle on the fellowship tree and history of fellowships in Endourology. UMN Urology was instrumental in the beginning with Dr. Smith and Ralph V. Clayman Endourological Society #WCET25

Heartwarming moment: Unveiling of the portrait of Dr. Karl Kreder, MD MBA, to celebrate his tenure as the Chair of Urology University of Iowa Urology. Under Karl’s leadership, the department had grown tremendously in clinical services, residency, NIH funding and research excellence.
Unreal to see the progress made in CF in <100 years. Also cool to see #MichaelWelsh Carver College of Medicine on that short list of those contributing to this work. There’s more than 🌽 happening in University of Iowa.
