I want to thank everyone who came out in Downtown Philly to tell CMSGov that more time for the 280,000 Pennsylvanians and ALL people living with Alzheimer’s IS ABSOLUTELY REASONABLE and ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! #EndAlz #AccessNow #MoreTime

I’ve been off a couple of days. Congrats to the DC team and all the advocates who rallied across the country this week. CMSGov : in that time 14,000 more people aged out of the stage where new Alz treatments can help. #MoreTime for them was reasonable. #AccessNow is necessary.

This is as far as I’d gotten writing my remarks for the CMS press conference by the end of lunch. Pretty sold on the opener though. philgutis #EndAlz #AccessNow #MoreTime #GoodMorning

Thank you Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick 🇺🇸 and Chrissy Houlahan for joining Paul Tonko and Darin LaHood on the bipartisan House Letter to CMSGov urging them to cover FDA approved Alzheimer’s Treatments. 280,000 Pennsylvanians and ALL Americans deserve #AccessNow . They deserve #MoreTime. #EndAlz

BREAKING NEWS: The FDA has granted lecanemab traditional approval for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s. Lecanemab is the first Alzheimer’s treatment granted this kind of approval that changes the underlying course of the disease. bit.ly/44AcLGq

A moment that shines a bright light on the great need for more investment in health equity, science, care delivery models, community infrastructure and health policy. While we celebrate this moment, we know that there is much work to be done and we are looking forward. #ENDALZ

For the many we know, and for the millions we dont, the work of Alzheimer’s Association volunteer advocates for the last six months will be nothing short of life changing. The era of treatment begins. #AccessNow #MoreTime #EndAlz

Thank you Governor Shapiro for supporting the 250,000 Pennsylvanian's living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. Now it's time for our state legislators to match that energy and I believe they will because we've come too far to turn back now.

Progress like this simply DOES NOT HAPPEN without the work volunteer advocates have done across Pennsylvania to shed light on issues facing the Alzheimer's and dementia community. It's an honor to work alongside you and we'll never Thank you enough.
