What an amazing day at the Wimbledon Qualifiers at the Bank of England Sports Ground. Thanks to LTA as our Year 5s saw some great matches and even managed to hit a few balls too!

Three fun-filled days at Heartfest 6 in Newcastle. Our representatives shared so much joy, laughter and Sacred Heart love with other students from Sacred Heart schools in our network. A brilliant trip ❤️

Today we are celebrating the Feast of Mater Admirabilis. Staff wore pink and students all received a special pink ribbon to wear #wearesacredheart

This afternoon all the children in Stuart House had their time together to celebrate the life of Janet Stuart who founded our school. The House Captains in year 6 chose a craft activity and helped the younger children complete it. It was a wonderful afternoon 💙 #wearesacredheart

On Saturday 19th October Year 5 and 6 competed in the PPSSA Annual Cross Country event at Richardson Evans memorial ground with 11 other schools. Another very successful result winning the Year 6 girls’ event and runner up in the year 5 boys’ event. We came second overall. 🏆

Thoroughly deserved. Well done from everyone at Sacred Heart.

Maple Class led a beautiful liturgy this week about ‘justice’. They talked about how at Sacred Heart we can fight for justice and talked about their learning on Catholic Social Teaching and our role as a UNICEF Gold school. See instagram for full video.
