We had a successful day 1. We managed to see and assess 240 children with various forms of disablitiy. Among them, 50 children were issued with birth certificates on site. NCPWD facilitated disability registration for 62 children. Over 30 were registered for SHA. #DontHideMe

This is Najma Ahmed, the mother who inspired us to start the #DontHideMe movement. She moved from the UK to create awareness on children living with developmental disabilities. Najma has a kid with Down syndrome. Doctors discouraged her, but she never gave up.

Today, he is in Quranic school (dugsi) and can go to the mosque on his own. Najma has vowed to encourage and motivate parents of kids with developmental disabilities to never give up. Watch her as she narrates her journey with the son.
