Spartan Bands Alum wins a Grammy! We are so excited to celebrate with Logan Miller a graduate of FHC in 2011 and former Spartan Band member. Logan has continued to help at FHC on occasion with our jazz program. We celebrate his wonderful accomplishments including a Grammy win!

We were excited to recognize these two outstanding #SMS8thGradeBand members at last night’s Saeger Star Awards Ceremony. Thanks to both of you for your hard work, dedication, and leadership in the Spartan Bands! FHC Spartan Bands

I am proud to announce that our Winterguard had another successful competition today. Our Spartan Winterguard placed 1st in their round and 2nd overall for the day in their class! Way to go! Keep it rolling!

More news out of our Spartan Band program. We had great representation at the District solo small ensemble festival at FZE today. We had over 90% of our events get an Outstanding or Exemplary rating. We had 27 total events get an Exemplary rating which is 35 students!

First Regiment camp of the spring is coming soon. We would love to see everyone out for this night on Friday, March 14th.

State Large Ensemble was today at Holt high school I am excited to report that all three of our bands earned a 1 rating! Way to handle yourselves with class today!

Fresh out of Springfield. Our Spartan winter guard finishes their season with a silver medal at MCCGA championships! We are so proud of these students and staff. Way to go!!!

What a great night as we celebrated percussion on our campus. The night of percussion featuring percussion ensembles from Saeger Middle and FHC were incredible. Thanks to everyone who came out!

We had a great day yesterday at FZN. Two great performances from our jazz groups. So proud of these folks.

We got to work with Ms. Marguerite Wilder last week! She taught in GA & has contributed as a writer & editor to several method books, including the Habits of a Successful Beginner Band Musician. She is a consultant, author, & editor for GIA Publications & a Yamaha Master Educator

Our #SaegerBeginningBand and #SaegerJazzWorkshop had an outstanding Spring Concert this week! We are so proud of the students in both of these ensembles. The future is bright for the Spartan Bands! FHC Spartan Bands

What an incredible end to our concert series for 24-25. Jazz Central was a blast. Thank you to those who donated, attended and performed. Jazz is alive and well in FHSD!
