Some people say I come off as angry or upset… Well, that’s because I am. I grew up with food stamps, even though my dad worked double shifts at the factory to provide for our family. Over 385,000 families in Iowa are food insecure. And our Senators voted to rip SNAP benefits

Ankeny is fired up and so am I. This movement is growing every day, because people are ready for a government that fights for the working class, not one that forgets us.

We’re building a grassroots army that is truly one of a kind. We’re rebuilding the Democrats as a working-class party, and we’re building a movement that is going to shock the nation next year.

The working class is under attack, but we’re fighting back the only way we know how, by organizing and building a people-powered movement. Thank you, Ankeny, for being part of this fight!

You would think that providing clean, safe water for Iowans would be a top priority for our state, right? But no, our politicians are too busy cutting taxes for the ultra-rich and stirring up culture war bullshit.
