UPDATE: Court refuses to lift PetroSA CEO’s suspension  In October, PetroSA suspended its CEO Xolile Sizani on what appeared to be bogus charges. Last month, he asked the Western Cape High Court to lift his suspension. The court refused saying his case wasn’t urgent.

PetroSA now says it’ll need 6 months to a year to complete the disciplinary process against its suspended CEO. This means that Sizani will likely spend half of his three-year contract on suspension, costing PetroSA R5-million a year. youtu.be/Mxw22314ttg

After this & other debacles before, one has to ask how it is that, Gwede Mantashe & his cronies at PetroSA remain ensconced in their positions. Simply put, it matters not how bad Gwede is for SA, but how bad it would be for the ANC, if he was taken to task news24.com/business/compa…

Figures provided by Eskom show that at the height of loadshedding, more than 80% of Eskom’s diesel was bought from PetroSA. By our estimate, PetroSA’s role as an unnecessary middleman generated R500-million for the struggling state-owned petroleum company.

Why does the IDT—a little-known public entity managing billions in infrastructure projects—keep facing scrutiny? Our investigation revealed alleged nepotism and irregular contracts. Our next story will expose political interference. Stay tuned for the next #IDTMistrust

The IDT admitted in court papers that Malaka irregularly approved the lease. Zikalala was well aware of all the allegations through multiple reports from the board. So why did he and his 'close comrade' shield her from accountability? Part 2 will be out tomorrow.

This statement is not just historically illiterate, it’s morally bankrupt and lacks any empathy nor understanding. Apartheid was not mere discomfort, because this is what you’re equating it to. It was not just hurt feelings. It was “losing a job opportunity”. It was systemic,
