It was an absolutely amazing day which fully captured our mantra that ‘everything is possible’. Many thanks to our truly inspirational keynote speakers Saju Iqbal Ahmed and Louise F. Steele Saukila who captivated our new Y11 cohort. Fabulous job Miss Lancaster-Knaggs and Jennifer Webb!

Spoken word poet opened the day, then careers talks (free choice, loads of local businesses, alumni etc.), apprenticeship and uni talks, personal finance and goal setting. Then a final talk from a neurosurgeon about aspiration.

Then lots of opportunities to pause and reflect over the course of the day. Students ended by visualising what they want from their future & making a pledge to themselves.
