I’m excited to present our poster on RF stop-motion imaging (at low-field MRI) abstract #1761 today at 9:15 am! Come check it out :) #ISMRM #ISMRM2023

We have completely reimagined MRI! Check out our latest work in #PLOSONE on how field-cycling technology and gradient-free RF encoding can be used to image at low-field, making MRI patient friendly and highly accessible. dx.plos.org/10.1371/journa… もえち🧸 Todd Constable (find me here @toddc.bsky.social)

Such an amazing experience to be a part of the Magnet Team at #mri4all hackathon last week. It still seems unbelievable that 50 researchers managed to assemble an MRI system in less than 7 days. This is definitely a proof for the synergistic power of team work 🤜🤛NYU Langone Health

Very pleased to announce I just received notice of an ARPA-H grant award entitled "Improving women’s healthcare through development of affordable breast MRI". Very excited to work on this project that could have major impact on women's health @arpa_h Thanks for the support!

Any trainees out there looking for a discussion on different career paths available? Come get advice from this panel at #Whistlerbrain! Lots of options...medicine.yale.edu/mrrc/about/sem…

This provides a biologically based approach for evaluating existing tests - such as the standardized tests that have been around for more than 60 years. And it provide a brain-based metric for developing better tests that interrogate specific systems.

We show that composite scores yield better brain-behavior models (using the same fMRI data) if their subscores all rely on the same proportional networks - but yield degraded models if the subscores tap different systems - Suggesting a framework for forming improved composites.

This approach also provides a brain-based method for combining scores from different tests to better interrogate specific networks of interest. The approach is general in the sense that any networks of interest can be predefined and used for analyses.

A cool aspect of this in developing new external test measures, is that once you have a cohort of subjects with imaging data, the imaging doesn't need to be repeated - different tests can be developed and modeled using the same subjects and their original imaging data.
