We are saddened to learn of the death of Zakir Hussain, who we have worked with across the years. Zakir brought energy to our 2012 project Mandala where he contributed to the soundtrack and delighted audiences with a mesmerising performance in 2011 with B:Music, responsible for Symphony Hall & Town Hall.

Last week marked our final Get Creative session with Birmingham Mind. We've enjoyed working with visitors to their 4 hubs, which had attendances of over 100 people. It's been a busy but fulfilling year, leveraging South Asian arts to improve mental& physical wellbeing.


I've finished as Lead Artist for Create & Change, a women's arts programme by Sampad Arts 🧡 We visited the Shakespeare B Trust archives + explored the concepts of value + preservation, creating our own personal archives in books. It was reflective, emotional, it felt needed.
