Since everyone is talking about #nCoV19 #nCoV2019 #COVID2019 #SARSCoV2, I though I would look at some of the cryo-EM structures (since that's what I do :). I made an animation comparing the recent maps from The Veesler Lab, also aligning an X-ray map of the receptor

This animation goes back to an older map of the spike proteins from the first CoV, which seems to have pretty similar structure, but also with bound antibodies. Pretty cool that they seem to bind so as to block the spike proteins from binding to the receptor.
