First time twittering today hope this message gets out to people, lovely day at work today nice to have a little reprieve from the madness and recharge our batteries.

So tonight is my last shift as a band 6 and tomorrow starts a new era for me as I commence my new band 7 role on MAU, I’m very much looking forward to it! After 22 yrs on the unit I never once thought I’d get to this point, I must be mad! Not really let’s do this!!

Another successful flu clinic on MAU this morning, Thankyou to all for allowing me the pleasure of delivering your vaccine! More clinics to follow so roll up your sleeves and come and see us and stay safe.

Another bout of flu vaccines done on MAU today, Thankyou to all for coming forward and Thankyou for your feedback on how gentle I was! It’s nice to hear.

That’s another 45 flu vaccines done today and there will be more to follow tomorrow .

A little late adding this on but thanks to our clinical educator Marjolien coming in early to catch night staff another 25 flu vaccines given yesterday, keep coming and we will keep giving!! Team MAU
