Rams WR Konata Mumpfield is questionable to return with an ankle injury.

Rams TE Anthony Torres has been ruled OUT with an ankle injury.

Sean McVay said Matthew Stafford will take part in individual drills during practice on Monday. Stafford threw 68 passes in a workout on Saturday morning, McVay said, and there were “no limitations” in terms of the types of throws the QB was able to make.

Sean McVay said the Rams are trying to hold a joint practice with the Saints on Thursday. They were previously scheduled to practice against the Chargers on Wednesday.

Matthew Stafford did not practice today because “he didn’t feel good enough” and the Rams didn’t want to push it, Sean McVay said. McVay said the plan is to take it one day at a time with Stafford’s return to practice.

When asked whether back surgery for Matthew Stafford has been ruled out, Sean McVay said, “That hasn't been a conversation that we've had.” “There's been a lot of conversations about what's the best method of how we want to approach it. That hasn't been something that comes up.”

The Rams signed TE McCallan Castles and waived TE Anthony Torres. Torres injured his ankle on Saturday.
