I work with many people in interfaith communities who agree. The proposed religious discrimination bill will allow for discrimination based on tenuously religious grounds instead of allowing for supposed religious freedom, overriding anti-discrimination bills already in place.

Thank you to all who shared your stories & outrage, provided brilliant analyses of the issues, & are insisting on a better tomorrow. In so doing, you have joined us in this journey, & there are no 38 people on earth who can match the strength of our fury. chronicle.com/article/they-s…

I've been writing research articles for over 10 years now and one of the hardest parts is writing consistently and efficiently without procrastinating. I'm going to share some of my tips here 🧵 1/10

This is excellently written and so important. It puts into words everything my rage and disappointment has been making it hard to articulate. #anthrotwitter if you want to support survivors and ongoing academic accountability, sign this.

Imagine trying to smear the character of a survivor rather than support them. Those seeking to discredit Grace Tame today only humanised her further, while showing us once again the importance of taking on those who try to take from women their voice and agency to speak up safely

Well our house is stuffed and we're in a bit of a whirlwind of emotion and stress, but our landlord has been incredible and is putting us up until we figure out what to do, and we went to visit the house today and our fish survived 😭😭😭 #SEQ #brisbanefloods

So weird when everything around you returns to normal but your life is in flux. Even with relatively minor impact from the floods everything in our lives is topsy turvy, and I know others have it worse. There are so many things you don't realise until it happens to you.
