Sarfraz Manzoor Lost my phone twice in London. Both times total strangers went to quite a lot of trouble to make sure I got it back.

Art Block Sarfraz Manzoor My daughter left her phone on a northern line train - it travelled all the way up and down the line and a person going home from his night shift picked it up and we got it back the next day. The phone travelled through many un-bourgeois environs without anyone nicking it.

Sarfraz Manzoor Many years ago My husband returned a phone that he found on the train . On giving it back , the grateful owner gave him a hydrangea plant . It still stands in our garden today and flourishes , a bit of kindness went a long way

Sarfraz Manzoor I left a laptop on the London Overground last year. Found by a young Chinese student who saw my name on the lockscreen, found me on Facebook, and reunited me with it by the end of the day. London is full of great people!

In episode 12, author Sarfraz Manzoor reads a piece about the things his father did not teach him. Scholar Elizabeth Gulliford talks about her work at the Jubilee Center for Character & Virtues. SK & the Kings perform a brand-new song. Listen here: SongWriterPodcast.com/Sarfraz-Manzoo….
