Last year, the High Court found that the State’s failure to provide accommodation, food and basic hygiene facilities was unlawful and breached the right to dignity under the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU. The situation on the ground is even worse now than it was then.

🚀 Excited to share our adventures from the Sense Lab in Akhmeta! 🌟 First, we broke cultural barriers with a bridge-building simulation game. 🌉 Then, we explored senses and imagination, translating sounds into forms. Plus, some gumizela fun in between! 🍃🗣️ #SENSEsteam

..first time we encountered smell as sensory evidence. These nose-witness-testimonies are by community members who have long experience of being afflicted by toxic environmental conditions and have become experts in smell detection. We have merely corroborated their experiences.

Really powerful evidence. It is exciting to see growing acceptance of sensory evidence, an important part of community science and community-involved science about neighbourhoods.
