Delighted to welcome Dr Dr Emma Dunne from FAU Erlangen-Nbg to Earth and Environment at Leeds to give the @ESSILeeds seminar this week. Emma is talking to us about the origins of early dinosaurs & pterosaurs as well as fossil record biases brought about by the colonial history of palaeontology 🦖🦕🌎⛵️

Our next free evening lecture will be on Friday 1st December at 18.00 GMT when Amy Elizabeth Shipley a PhD student at Earth and Environment at Leeds & Palaeo@Leeds will talk about The Extinction of a Giant Apex Predator: Implications on a Food Web Structure.

Fantastic @ESSILeeds seminar by Dr Tiffany Slater from Ireland's Fossil Heritage UCC Ireland on the taphonomy of feathers with the message that modern feather chemistry is ancient.

We are proud to announce that the University of Bristol ( @BristolUnil ) will be hosting #ProgPal2024 on 17th-20th June 2024! Many thanks to Natalia Jagielska (Natalia Jagielska) for designing our amazing logo featuring Bristol’s local dino Thecodontosaurus!
