As schools across 🇳🇬 resume, we wish every child a happy & safe return! Like Chimamanda said, one of the things she looks forward to is “having fun & learning with her mates”. For many children, fun can be derived from play. Play is a right. Let children play while they learn.

Every child deserves a safe space to learn. 💛 On this #InternationalDayToProtectEducation, we take a stand: schools must be safe places where children can learn, grow, and thrive, free from violence. #ProtectEducation #SafeSchools #EducationForAll

Acute #malnutrition means a child is dangerously thin for their age, too weak to fight disease, too hungry to grow, and at risk of dying. 📉 Estimated 5.4 million children in Nigeria face this threat. Floods & #insecurity restricts access to treatment. 📢 We must act now!

No child should go to bed hungry. Yet, 5.4M children under five in Nigeria are at risk of acute malnutrition. Malnutrition is preventable and treatable. We need urgent action from leaders and stakeholders to support nutrition programs. Every child deserves a future.

RUTFs (Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food) are life-saving for children with acute malnutrition. But supplies in Nigeria are running out fast. Donor funding cuts are deepening the crisis. We need urgent action, support nutrition programs and help restore vital supplies.
