Shoutout to my senior resident who, despite wearing a face mask, continues to try and mouth the correct answers behind the attending’s back to save me on rounds. I appreciate you, and honestly your eyebrow raising/eye expressions have really improved this week. #medtwitter #meded

An autopsy is a test and has false negatives like any other test. The pre-test probability that George Floyd died from a 200+ pound force applied to the airways and vessels of his neck for many minutes is pretty much 100%. No test can move that needle.

Latest #COVID19 for Harris County, my observations if this trajectory persists: 1) Houston would become the worst affected city in the US, maybe rival what we're seeing now in Brazil 2) The masks = good 1st step but simply won't be enough 3) We would need to proceed to red alert

Parents remember their 28-year-old daughter, a doctor who died after long battle with Covid-19; as the US death toll tops 200,000. "She was delightful," says her mother. "People loved her and she loved to talk to people of all ages."
