Nice to see a fresh Small Copper in @burgesspk today. My first of the year.

This is an historic photo. Congratulations to William Brame (who took the photo) for realising this was a different white butterfly. Now confirmed by Chris van Swaay as a Southern Small White - the first seen in England. As it is a female let's hope it has been laying eggs.
