Excited to announce…..it’s finally arrived (!!) nature.com/articles/s4155… A big thank-you to my team (particularly Robert Ju), co authors & #FutureFellowship funding from Australian Research Council Importantly- a big shoutout to Daryl JV David Nature Cell Biology for their support. 👇tweetorial 👇

Our Thematic Programme: Linking Microscopic Processes to the Macroscopic Rheological Properties in Inert and Living Soft Materials continues, organized by Roberto Cerbino, Emanuela Del Gado, and Prof. Giuseppe Foffi. Find the full schedule of talks here: esi.ac.at/events/e519/

The first session of the Erwin Schrödinger Institute CECAM workshop "Failure in soft materials" is almost over. Great talks by Edouard Hannezo and Helene Delanoë-Ayari are already raising a bunch of interesting questions! Good way to start.

The 2nd day of our Erwin Schrödinger Institute CECAM workshop "Failure in soft materials" has begun with Scita_Lab relaxing after a very rich talk about percolation and flocking in cell collectives and Dapeng "Max" Bi answering a lot of questions during his talk on rheology of tissue

And we are back for the third day of the Erwin Schrödinger Institute CECAM workshop "Failure in soft materials" with two talks from @G_Charras and Alessandra Bonfanti about tissue rheology and fracture

And for the last day of our Erwin Schrödinger Institute CECAM workshop we started this morning with two very exciting talks by Mazi Jalaal and Dogic Lab on physical aspects of plants and multi-component active soft networks

“One- and two-particle microrheology of soft materials based on optical-flow image analysis”. Our new article (with Fabio Manuel Escobedo Gardel Lab) in Soft Matter shows you simpler way to microrheology pubs.rsc.org/en/Content/Art…

Thank you to organisers Marco Foiani marco foiani, Ana-Maria Lennon-Duménil Lennon Lab, Victoria Sanz-Moreno Vicky Sanz-Moreno & Giorgio Scita Scita_Lab and everyone who joined us for this week's Workshop 'Mechanometabolism Unleashed: The Interface of Cell Mechanics and Metabolism'
