This is such disappointing news! Aaron Scott has been an excellent Short Wave host and I will miss hearing him in that role. It's so disheartening seeing all the layoffs in the science journalism world. In any event, whatever team Aaron joins next will be fortunate to have him!

Yesterday, LSC researchers Ashley Cate & Scott Hershberger presented their research for the Graduate Research Showcase at the State Capitol. The event showcased cutting-edge work to a non-scientific audience and emphasized its importance to WI's legislators, staff, and the public.

Upon graduating my master's, I'm excited to share that I'll be joining the The Conversation U.S. staff as an Assistant Science Editor! My experience with TCUS as an AAAS Mass Media Fellowship fellow was amazing, and I'm stoked to be coming back to such a great team.
