Yesterday I presented a poster at the Wisconsin state Capitol about my part of the UW–Madison Division of Extension Division of Extension Natural Resources Institute project to support Wisconsin #MapleSyrup producers, funded by USDA Ag Mktg Service. Yesterday, LSC researchers Ashley Cate & Scott Hershberger presented their research for the Graduate Research Showcase at the State Capitol. The event showcased cutting-edge work to a non-scientific audience and emphasized its importance to WI's legislators, staff, and the public.


Upon graduating my master's, I'm excited to share that I'll be joining the The Conversation U.S. staff as an Assistant Science Editor! My experience with TCUS as an AAAS Mass Media Fellowship fellow was amazing, and I'm stoked to be coming back to such a great team.
