More than 93% of children in Gaza - around 930,000 - are now at critical risk of famine. Gaza doesn’t have enough food for the children. It’s not famine. It’s forced starvation. Forced starvation is an act of genocide.

Almost three months since my third book came out and it still feels very new and exciting when someone orders the whole trilogy 📚🥰 (I'm currently doing a £20 offer plus postage for all three books if anyone's interested. Signed and dedicated too!)

Penniless and homeless, Raynor and Moth Winn found fame with The Salt Path: the story of their 630-mile walk to salvation. It became a global bestseller and was adapted into a major film. But we can reveal it wasn’t the whole truth. Chloe Hadjimatheou Read: bit.ly/3GtJXsy

Stan Winston's Velociraptor test footage before filming JURASSIC PARK is insane. Practical fx will forever remain undefeated.

It's sunny. It's hot. Did you know that books have multiple uses in this heat : a) hold over head for instant shade b) use to waft as a fan c) read to distract yourself from the fact that you are melting. Also, both bookshops and booksellers are cool.

Bookshops are cool! So are booksellers. Pop into one and escape the heat and talk to a bookseller. They can recommend the perfect book for you in this heat!

I must have watched this performance of #Queen at Live Aid dozens of times over the years, but it still blows my mind. . Freddie really did have that entire crowd in the palm of his hand. #LiveAid40

So pleased with this smashing review for Wink, Murder in TSL (The School Librarian). 'Though this story is, at its heart, a light-hearted mystery, it also touches on themes of racism and belonging in a very powerful way. Perfect for ages 9–12, and for learning about WWII.'
