Thank you to everyone in #Cardiff who attended a Remembrance service across the city this weekend. Jayne Cowan MBE & I have been able to attend some of them and it has been great to meet with veterans, cadets, military, Lord Mayor's Own Scouts & Guides and members of the public.

We laid a wreath on the memorial in RM Hamworthy yesterday to remember our son Ben who died serving his country in 2018. My wife found the Elisabeth Elliot quote helpful: “There is nothing worth living for, unless it is worth dying for.” #RemembranceDay #RoyalMarine #Grief
