I'm sure LLMs will get better than this. But as it stands, everyone who posts this kind of thing — with an example that wows them — is just announcing that they can't evaluate what makes writing effective, or aren't used to understanding the meaning of the things they read.

Are we stuck with high end Club blather about Abundance for the next few years? It feels like forced attendance at a self-help seminar that never ends.

I keep thinking about this terrible story and Travis Decker, still on the run. Maybe he's dead already - that wouldn't surprise me. The thought I can't shake: why run at all? thenewstribune.com/news/local/art…

The attention economy comes with built-in lies no one discusses. 1. People hate being bombarded with notifications. 2. Nobody reads them all. 3. Everyone knows this, but no one says it out loud. Instead, leaders insist on MORE noise.

Coal miners used to form study groups to read Gibbon & Thucydides. Lincoln and Douglas delivered speeches that lasted three hours with no pauses. C. S. Lewis, like many kids of his era, read Paradise Lost at age nine and was translating Homer by sixteen. The brain rot is real.

Those who worship at the altar of efficiency fail to see that inefficiency can be a Good by nature. For instance, talking to people in real life is inefficient, but the byproduct is community.
