GameBlazers Fantasy Football FOX Sports: NFL The Cowboys outgained the Eagles. The difference were the CeeDee Lamb drops - can't tolerate that, and also the Miles Sanders fumble. Otherwise this game was very winnable. Either both teams suck or they've both very good, let's see how it goes.

Dallas Cowboys The Philadelphia Eagles wanted to lose (everyone but Jalen Hurts) but the Dallas Cowboys said no. So many of these same type of losses vs. good teams have haunted the Cowboys for years now. They simply can't make that one big play at the end to pull it out. This time CeeDee Lamb was the guy

Didn't CeeDee Lamb say he was going to watch the Eagles' banner get raised last night as motivation? Then dropped not 1 but 2 passes that could have very well given the Cowboys a chance at a late lead and a win?

Defy With the "drops" that CeeDee Lamb had, I don't think that happens, they know they're better than what they showed last night. They will come out hungry against the Giants.

Ryan Heath Scott Barrett The Cowboys' motion use was more effective, though. They averaged just 5.22 ANY/A on plays with motion during the snap in 2024. Last night, that was 11.8, which would have led the NFL last year. That should be very good for CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens going forward:

Ryan Heath Scott Barrett The Cowboys ran the ball on 5 of 6 plays inside the red zone (83%, not including a DPI that CeeDee Lamb drew right before a Williams TD) That number for the Cowboys was just 39.9% last year (26th). The Eagles led the NFL in that stat with 62.4%.
