GET A GRIP There were good election results for Reform, just as there were for the Lib Dems & Greens, who almost doubled & did double, respectively, their councillors, with the Lib Dems taking control of 3 councils. Why the press isn't hailing the success of the two is a real mysteryโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ™„

Queen Natalie Councillors in the UK have no say in the hiring and firing of council workers. If Farage bothered to look at the UK system instead of parroting Trump he would know this.

I am angry. A cigarette butt has been left in my road! Mr. Fagash pledged that he would 'Remove all butts on Day One' of Reform Councillors taking power. He's had a full 24 hours to get this done, but has broken his promise already. Ha! 'Broken Britain' still broken under Reform.

Ljango Unchained ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ Tommy Robinson ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Sounds like exactly what I would have liked to do. We found him, blocked in his car, called police, were told to let him go or we would be arrested. Long story. Youโ€™re partially correct with your last sentence, police, councillors etc have been found to be involved with the gangs

This is a bad idea. Teenagers should be encouraged to use their voices but voting should remain an adult right. With the state of public education, Iโ€™m not confident ideological indoctrination isnโ€™t a factor of design. Only 3 councillors voted NO.

Gillian McMichael Nigel Farage MP Thatโ€™s all very ambitious. The new Reform councillors will first have to fill all the potholes, deliver statuary services, in adult social services and education. And donโ€™t forget they will have to do all this within weeks.

Mary Regnier-Wilson ๐Ÿ”ถ As an ex local authority finance principal officer when I was much much younger, the section 151 only comes into effect when the councillors hinder or affect the finance department doing their work. If the world is right, reform wonโ€™t do anything so no issue with section 151

Bearly Politics councils service managers are well equipped to follow their legislation to deliver Councillors have no impact on day to day running They are figureheads and should be engaging with end users and at committee level to โ€œ oversea โ€œ They donโ€™t make laws, they canโ€™t change law

ITVPolitics Nigel Farage MP Itโ€™s a punch in the face to Labour . Yes Reform are untested. They have not got to work yet. So letโ€™s see how Reform do as councillors only then should you be looking into the future if so next weeks lottery numbers would be really useful. Only time and actions can we judge.

Tony McDonough Part of this is that the Greens just don't get airtime or attention. They've got a larger share of councillors than Reform do, and they've had an MP in parliament for longer than Reform does, and yet the BBC has fucking Farage on 9 times a week and the Greens once a month.
